JCM is a Christian Non-Profit organisation working with Government(GRZ), Churches, local communities and other collaborating partners. JCM envisions a better world for all, where the less privileged especially women and children are empowered and their human rights are protected and promoted. This is achieved by providing services to the targeted groups such as education, care & support, health & nutrition, capacity building & empowerment of HIV/AIDS incapacitated households..
JCM is a well-established organization spread throughout Zambia, and is currently undertaking 7 different projects in both rural and urban with a total staff of 45 and working with over 3,000 Volunteers/Caregivers. Staff includes Project Managers, Finance Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation Officers, Human Resource Officer, Project Officers, Nurse Coordinators and social workers who are professionally qualified working in the Communities addressing health matters such as HIV/AIDS, but also working with children withdrawn from child labour including street children. JCM has put in place rehabilitation centers which includes community schools and Care Centers that facilitate complete rehabilitation of children in readiness for integration.
JCM is governed by 12 board members responsible for the policy formulation of the organization. The Board members are eminent members of society with diverse backgrounds. The president of JCM, Pastor Godfrida Sumaili, (Mrs) is the chief executive of the organization. She is a banker by profession and holder of MBA, Finance from Atlanta University, USA. She is also part time pastor with Bread of Life Church in charge of women ministry.
JCM uses a rights-based and household approach to programming. Implementation structures and infrastructure are established at the community level with coordination structures at district and national level. JCM work is in the community and therefore works closely with the local churches and community committees from project design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation to ensure impact and establish sustainability.

Mission
Jesus Cares Ministries is a Christian organization whose mission is to promote human transformation, dignity and seek justice for the less privileged, especially children and women; to ensure they are protected, cared for and given the opportunities to become all God meant them to be. This will be achieved through promotion of education, health & nutrition, Water Sanitation & Hygiene and economic strengthening, while promoting green economy.
